I’m a Brighton based artist combining my love of detailed realism and punchy pop art to create illustrations that are eye-catching, captivating stories in themselves. Creating imagery that gives voice to movies, books, gaming and sport are especially rewarding because of the narrative to convey.
My experience as a designer helps me to conceptualise dynamic compositions that give fresh and versatile solutions to my work. Whilst my technical knowledge and ability working with a digital drawing board allows me to illustrate anything from complex machines to animals and people.
Half Danish, half Chinese, British born - my work is the brainchild of the 80’s anglo-scandi-chinese cultural melting pot I grew up in. I’ve been lucky enough to see many parts of the world in my life so far and inspired by my love of the natural world, global pop culture and art nouveau, my creative influences and understanding are wide ranging.
Clients include Red Bull, BBC Wildlife, Purina, Bleacher Report, Shell Eco Marathon, Politico, Dark Star, Channel 4, Plusnet, licensed art for Netflix - Stranger Things, as well as plenty of book covers, editorial, key art and movie and gaming posters.
Yes, I love the Beastie Boys – RIP MCA
